I HEAR you!

On my last poll in my stories I asked what you guys wish photographers had and the biggest one was clothing help when it comes to photoshoots. So…..

Starting in 2024 I will be sending a clothing recommendation guide to all clients who book with me. It’ll include color choices, various options for toddlers and moms and dads. I got you!

Imposter syndrome

Have you ever heard of it?

It’s one of my least favorite things about owning a business. It’s this constant feeling of inadequacy and that I’m not good enough. It is something I feel like I fight to control every single day and every single session. I literally give myself a pep talk before every session cause I worry I won’t be good enough or that I don’t know what I’m doing. Sometimes it can get really ugly some of the thoughts I have.

What do you do to fight it?

My best kept secret for family session 🤫

Let kids be kids!!! It’s okay if they cry or scream or simply want to play. Go with it! As a mom or dad play with them, comfort them, be with them. It doesn’t bother me one bit if they are struggling cause guess what?!??

Froggy pose

This pose use to be a complete mystery to me and I freaking never understood how photographers were able to do it.
Now…. Now I do it weekly and I absolutely love it!

Who was there for you?
Who has helped raise your kids?
Who is part of your village?

I’d have to say for me my village is family and my close friends. Who are there not only for my kiddos but for me when I need it too.
