A 1978-1979 Subaru DL Wagon.

2026 has not been a very car-focused year for me, but when I see a 10/10 car spot, I will drop EVERYTHING and go take pictures, and this malaise era machine is a perfect example of this. How delightful it is to see such a mundane car from such an overlooked era in perfect crispy factory condition. For my taste in car spots, it really doesn’t get much better than this!

My (?) 1996 Buick Riviera Supercharged.

Hopefully set to be my last post with the Rivi, as the Mustang should be up and ready for daily driving duty in a few days time! Hard to capture photogenic angles if this thing, but sometimes, when you get it just right, it is a handsome lil coupe.

My 2002 Ford Mustang GT Rebuild Pt. 9

And just like that, the car is DONE.

Well…it shoulda been, but of course there was ONE stupid issue that prevented me from taking it out on its first drive in 4 years. A tiny little PCV Valve on the passenger side valve cover that we finally got replaced was incompatible with the Mustang, so the intake manifold to throttle body hose can’t be connected (hence the high idle) and thankfully that’s not a bad fix. But that means I’m literally that pcv valve swap and basically a $20 6” hose away from daily driving this car once again 😳 It’s crazy how quickly it started back up, man it is SO eager.

My 2002 Ford Mustang GT.

Never got around to posting these, but to date these are my favorite pictures of the Mustang (since the accident), and this weekend with the last two parts that I need (🤞) I should be driving it again in a few days!! Been almost 4 years since my beloved daily was hit by a distracted driver & god I cannot wait to have this car back on the road again! (And eventually paint matched)

A 1980-1985 Chevrolet Citation 5-door.

Forgot to post this, but this was the first car spot to make me physically turn around in a LONG time. While the sun wasn’t cooperating with the photos, I’m still happy to have found this troublesome quirked up terrible malaise era car still chugging around almost 50 years later.

My 1978 Dodge Challenger.

Now that the car has its bumperettes removed, maybe I’ve oughta get all my drafts posted before it’s too late 😅 These are from May of last year after the car got a nice waxing. Definitely due to do it again soon, but really the paint needs to be buffed, not just waxed since it’s looking very flat these days. Too bad car details are hundreds of dollars 🥴
