Along the Salmon River corridor , catching even a glimpse feels like nature's version of a well kept secret. Capturing them on camera requires patience, sharp eyes, and a bit of good fortune--making every photo a rare and memorable encounter in the wild.

Elusive and endlessly curious, North American river otters are amongst the most rewarding subject for wildlife photographers--if you're lucky enough to spot one.
These sleek, agile creatures are masters of stealth, often slipping through the river currents unnoticed and vanishing just as quickly as they appear.
