A couple nights ago we were driving through Sussex County during the rainstorm. As we cut through, I saw a red glow coming from behind another building and asked to do a U-turn. The rain and heavy mist stopped long enough for me to snap this.❤️

Everyone goes to Assateague to see the wild horses but the real stars are hidden in the background. I was standing there with several people and not 1 person noticed the sweet Sika deer sharing snack time with the horses. How sweet is this? Something a little different on this rainy day.
This is a face only a mother could love. I’ve had these iPhone images for a while. This hornet was dead on my fireplace floor and of course, me being me, I saw an opportunity to take a closer look at it. I guess he flew in the chimney and never made it out, which is probably good for local honeybees. As I zoomed in, I couldn’t get over how much it looks like an alien. Also, check out that hairdo. Don’t you think it looks like something in a sci-fi movie?

Good morning and happy Saturday! Let me tell you about this image. I needed a photo for a project I was working on. After not seeing anything with any wow factor for several days, I sat on the edge of the water, camera in hand, freezing, and about to give up for the night. I said, “Lord, I’m exhausted. Please send something marvelous my way.” All of a sudden, I heard a loud squaking sound, wings flapping, and there it was. I said, “Thank you, thank you,” ending the night happy and grateful as could be.❤️

Happy April 1st! My April Fools’ Day joke came early from a pod of dolphins. Several days ago I was photographing at the inlet and in the midst of switching lenses, dolphins swam up close to this surfer checking out what was going on, took a peek at me, and the second I got my lens locked in, they left. I swear I heard them snicker as they swam away😂 Hope you have a great one!

Probably one of my favorite images I’ve taken in a while. It’s currently an oversized print professionally framed by a local framer and hanging in an office. I woke up this morning reflecting on how thankful I am for every client and every opportunity I’ve been given. If you’ve ever hired me, I want you to know how grateful I am for you. It means so much to me to see the beautiful faces and places on our eastern shore hanging on your walls. Thank you.❤️
