Some clients become such a special part of your story 🤍

Keyona first hired me nearly 10(?!) years ago for her graduation portraits, and somehow I’ve had the honor of photographing her every year since. From celebrating that season of her life to now documenting her beautiful family, it’s pretty incredible to look back and realize just how much life we’ve captured together.

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do — not just taking pretty photos, but becoming the person families trust to preserve their story year after year. Keyona, thank you for continuing to choose me 🥹🤍

There’s something so special about photographing the same families year after year 🤍

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph the Trick family for years now, and getting to watch their kids grow up in front of my camera is one of my favorite parts of this job.

This time, we wandered around downtown Salisbury for their family portraits — a little exploring, lots of personality, and the kind of moments that feel like them. These are the sessions that remind me how quickly the years really do go by.

There’s something extra special about photographing a family in a place that already holds so many of their memories. 🤎

We photographed this extended family together on their family farm — multiple generations, lots of laughter, and the kind of images that only become more meaningful with time.

With Thanksgiving coming up, it’s also one of the few times of year when everyone might actually be in the same place. If your parents, siblings, grown children, or grandbabies are coming home for the holiday, it’s the perfect opportunity to finally update those family photos.

Lyla’s senior session at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden might be one of my favorites yet 🤍

We leaned into a classic, elegant, timeless feel, and this garden was absolutely perfect for her. The architecture, the greenery, the soft romantic details… and obviously, Lyla made my job pretty easy.

And can I brag on myself for a second? 💁‍♀️ We shot these in the middle of the day, with that bright summer sun overhead, and I am SO proud of how beautifully everything came together. Proof that you don’t always need golden hour to make a little magic. ✨

Dana & Anthony 🤍 The kind of couple who can make each other laugh through literally anything… and their wedding day at Cedar Hill was the perfect reflection of them: beautiful, joyful, and SO much fun.

I swear, some weddings feel like work and some feel like you just got invited to hang out with the funniest people all day. 🪩👯 These two were definitely the latter.

I’m thinking about hosting an Agent Headshot Day at a beautiful model home somewhere in the Charlotte area, and I’m putting out some feelers!

The idea: quick, professional headshots in a gorgeous model home & an opportunity to grab a few fresh images for your real estate brand, meet other local agents, have some coffee, and make it a fun networking morning.

I’m looking for TWO things:

🏠 **A builder, new construction community, or model home rep who would be interested in hosting us!** It would be a great way to get local agents into the community and showcase the model while we’re there.

You don’t have to smile to be beautiful. You don’t have to make yourself smaller to make other people comfortable. You don’t have to fit into anyone else’s idea of what confidence looks like.

One of my favorite things about Joey’s senior session was that she gave herself permission to simply be. Soft in some moments. Bold in others. Thoughtful. Powerful. Unapologetically herself.

As you step into this next chapter, I hope you never lose that. I hope you chase the things that make you come alive, speak kindly to yourself, stand tall in rooms that challenge you, and remember that your worth has never been determined by anyone else.

The world doesn’t need another version of someone else. It needs the woman you’re becoming.
