My favorite wedding to date, my childhood best friend’s DREAM wedding, and as a guest!! All photos taken on my film simulator that I hope to include more this year 💕
This wedding was an honest dream but not for the reasons you may think. Abby talked to me at LENGTH about the intentionality behind every decision she made and it stood out more than any other wedding I have been to. From Abby and Oakley’s hand written place card notes, to Abby tracking everyone’s flight information, she cared about every detail and every person there.
My favorite thing Abby says about me is “Addie is my smartest friend” and maybe thats why she asked me to hear her vows “just to make sure they were okay” before she walked down the aisle. Surprise (but not really) they were perfect, honest, and true to her, just the way they were. My biggest piece of advice to her is one I would tell to any bride: your vows are only for you two, they are NOT a performance. It doesn’t matter if you don’t even use a microphone because when you say them you say them to the other person, not to your guests.
The whole weekend was an unscripted, full emotion, and a genuine gathering of the people they love, everything a wedding should be 🤍
