After my father passed away when I was eighteen, I scrambled through the few family photos that my aunt snapped with her polaroid to find one of my father. I wanted to stare at his face and memorize every feature until they were burned so deep into my memory that I would never forget. It was completely out of focus, and I was unable to make out much of anything. The one t

hing I could see was the pure radiance on his face as he was bouncing my giggling little two year old self on his knee. The emotion from that photograph was so penetrating that despite my grief, my heart filled with joy. In this moment, I realized the power of a photograph and the importance of a legacy...
