As some of you may know, the guys at PAC-14 gave me the opportunity to film the Red White and Boom with my drone. When editing this video I wanted to add a Dead song to it but it was a toss up between "U.S. Blues" and "Liberty." I went with "Liberty" because I felt the lyrics to reflect what being a person really is. A human is hard to define and trying to fit into boxes made by "the Man" will leave you chafing in the parts of you that make you who you are.

There’s this one Joseph Campbell quote that's been stuck in my head. It went something like “you can tell what’s important to a community by what their biggest building is.” When you go driving around the back roads of a rural community you find some of these big buildings. They are either churches, fire departments, maybe even a granary. Pictured below is a church I photographed on Wetipquin Road located near Bivalve, Md on the West side of Salisbury. Tell me what you think.
