I waited for the fox to cross the meadow, its coat rich against the frost-white ground. It paused once, ears tuned, a brief acknowledgment passing between us. The light was soft enough to hold shadow detail along its legs and tail. I made a few frames and let it go. This is Whisper of the Wild.

I waited for the moment when the chase would unfold. The cheetah low to the ground, the warthog sprinting, dust trailing behind them both. It was a split second where everything aligned against the warm Mara grass. I almost left without this frame. Kenya offered quieter mornings, but this is the one that answers the hope I carried onto the plane.
