I had been seeing this pair of cardinals in my backyard every day this spring. One evening I was outside and discovered they had a nest in one of my bushes! I was able to capture Mom and Dad teaching their babies how to fly. It was pretty special watching them go around and cheer on their little birdies.

Does this mean I'm old now? Because I thoroughly enjoyed watching these birds.

Every time I drove out that way, I held my breath in anticipation—amazed every single time to find it still standing. Hard to believe the next time I pass by, it won’t be there. 😢🌾
