Ah, 2020.... you will not be forgotten.
Sadly, after 35 years, Excel Photo is closing it's doors.
With the dramatic loss of revenue topped by a ransomware attack, we have decided that it is time for us to go.
Our offices are now closed to focus our attention on liquidating inventory and equipment. I will be posting contact info, images and pricing here in the next few days.
If you call our office number, please leave a message and we will return your call as quickly as possible.
Our deep appreciation goes out to all of our amazing employees....who are really family....to our loyal customers, friends and vendors for the opportunity to be a part of your lives and success all of these years!

Less than a week and we’ll be back! The 6th is going to be spent in planning meetings, so if you need to talk with us that day, be sure to shoot an email so we can return your call as soon as possible.
We’re going to be talking about how we staff and what we can do about group photos. We know that your schools and league may not allow them so we will be looking at alternatives for you.

We’re sorry to hear that Pounds Lab is closing in August. They produced high quality products with great service. It’s sad to see another full service lab close....especially under the COVID circumstance. All of us here at Excel wish everyone the best of luck on their journey forward.
We would also like to reach out to any of their full service school and sport customers that need help with specialty products and e-commerce solutions. We are here to help starting July 6th and can make your transitions as seamless as possible.

We’re coming back on July 6th!
We really want to talk with all of you. Day 1 will be mostly planning for how we handle the season and trying to contact everyone to see what you know so far. We’ll be getting the online orders shipped that came in during the COVID closure.
Things will be different moving forward for all of us. Contactless photo days will be something we all need to prepare for. We’re up for the challenge and will evolve to meet the new demands.

Excel Photo, Inc. offices and production facility will be temporarily closed effective 3/18/2020. Our closure is in response to COVID-19, and recommendations provided by the CDC as well as governing organizations for youth sports leagues and schools that have created photo day cancellations nationwide.

Our closure is effective March 18, 2020 with planned re-opening on April 6, 2020. Given the constant rapid changes of the situation, this schedule could change. There will be 2-3 of us here over the next couple of days wrapping up loose ends. Hours may fluctuate.

We gave this decision much thought with intent to protect the safety and health of our employees and our customers.

We will be monitoring email in order to respond to incoming orders in a timely fashion during this period of time. All other inquiries will be addressed once our offices re-open.
Please, Stay healthy, humble and kind.

Some simple FAQs to be aware of:

Will you be monitoring email?
Yes. We will periodically check emails to see if there are incoming orders that need to be taken care of and schedule staff on an as needed basis accordingly.

Will you be processing Online orders?
We will be fulfilling online orders on an as needed basis. This will not be daily, but rather, we will accumulate orders until there is sufficient work to warrant calling someone in to handle them.

Will you be there for us when the dust settles and we're able to shoot and submit jobs?
That is the very reason we are taking this time off now! We want to be sure that we have healthy, well trained employees to respond to your needs when we all return!
We plan to return on April 6th...but with things changing so rapidly, that date could change. We will keep you advised if that changes.

We purchased some 1" double sided tape recently that isn't working well for us. I have 12 rolls that normally sell for $10.75 each when purchasing a case. We would sell for $5.50 per roll. Does anyone need some double sided tape? PM me or send me an email if you're interested.

It amazes me how a couple of weeks off can affect your ability to communicate with real people.
We're back at it though! I, for one, am speaking some mutated form of English....but it's getting better!
Our holiday break was enjoyable, and now we're here and ready to get you prepped for Winter and Spring. Please be sure and give us a call or drop a line if there is anything we can do for you!
