My heart broke the day I learned the tall cedars had to come down.

Then, in the newly discovered sunlight beside the driveway, nearly 60 giant sunflowers volunteered—giving us an entire summer of unexpected joy.

They came up all on their own. They thrived. And now, as the season changes, they are feeding flocks of very happy birds.

Sometimes the garden knows exactly what to do with an empty space.

🍂 Colors of the Valley: the 2027 calendar is almost here! 🍂

For the past nine months, rescued dogs from 4 All MuttKind have been traveling all over the Willamette Valley for something pretty special. 🐾

From Minto-Brown Island Park last fall, through spring blossoms, tulips, irises, peonies, lavender, hazelnut orchards, sunflowers and hops, these pups got to be part of a year-long celebration of the place we call home.

And every dog brought their own rescue story with them!

This whole project was made possible by the incredible Terri Jacobson Photography, who spent months photographing our rescue dogs and capturing the beauty of the Valley around them. She has poured so much time, creativity and heart into this project, and we are SO grateful.

After months of planning, traveling, photographing and gathering stories, the Colors of the Valley calendar has officially gone to the printer!

This 2027 calendar celebrates the beauty of the Willamette Valley and the rescued dogs who found their way into loving homes.

Calendars are expected to arrive mid-September and will be available through the 4 All MuttKind website (4allmuttkind.org), at our community outreach events, and at Nature’s Pet Market Salem.

We seriously cannot wait to get these in our hands, and into yours! ❤️

The Floofy Newfie World Tour has arrived in Provence.

There was lavender. There was couture. There was a young artist searching for something beautiful to paint.

And then Antonio met Ooset.

What began as another grand adventure became a love story—complete with stolen kisses, passionate letters and one rather spectacular plot twist.

Because apparently, what happens in Provence does not stay in Provence.
