Here’s a thought for today: instead of trying to make everything perfect for picture day, wouldn’t it be better to be captured enjoying our friends/family/significant other? When did we decide that every photo has to have every person looking straight into the camera and every person has to have those cringy fake smiles? I believe it matters more to capture the emotions in the moment shared between people than to force them into an awkward pose and say “cheese”. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place to sit down and smile, but all of my favorite photos are of those raw moments where it’s like the photographer wasn’t even there.

I love when my seniors love adventures. We had no specific place in mind, we just drove. When we saw somewhere interesting we stopped, took a few shots, then packed back up and searched for the next place. If more seniors could be like this please and thank you!
