Life Update!

Hello everyone,

We wanted to take a moment to reconnect and share a bit about what the past year has looked like for us and why we’ve been a little quieter than usual on social media.

From June 2024 through November 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to photograph over 1,200 children’s sessions in a truly magical setting. It was an unforgettable (and very busy!) season of life, and we are so grateful for the experience. That chapter has now come to a close, and through it all, we realized just how much we missed working with our seniors and families. We’re so excited to be returning our focus to those sessions again.

You may also remember that we shared plans last July to move into a new studio space. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the space was never completed, and we ultimately had to step away in December. While that was disappointing, we’re happy to say we are still right where we’ve always been at 345 Bush St. SE in Salem and we love continuing to serve you from here.

On a more personal note, last August Eric was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for our family. He underwent surgery at the end of January, and we are beyond grateful to share that he is now cancer-free. Hearing those words was truly a blessing. He’s been recovering over the past several weeks and is feeling stronger every day—and very ready to get back to doing what he loves.

Amid all of this, one of the greatest joys in our lives has been our two grandbabies. Our granddaughter is now 20 months old, and her little brother is 9 months. Our weekly Sunday family dinners with them have been such a gift, there’s simply nothing that brings us more happiness.

We are so thankful for each and every one of you. Your support, patience, and kindness over this past year have meant more to us than we can express. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead—capturing meaningful moments and creating beautiful artwork for your homes.
