The sweetest couple in the coolest bar 🥂

Side note - During this engagement session, we were wandering around all of the parking lots near the bar & while down one of the alleys there was a man with a ferret and 5(?) cats. He was just simply going for a walk & enjoying the beautiful weather. Me being…. Well, me, wanted to pet the ferret. So I approached him & my couple & I got to hear his story about his furry friends. He told us about him & his wife, the house they’re building, and all about his ferret who he’s had since he was a baby. He explained how the animals never stray too far from him & he walks them through the area daily. It was the purest moment to listen to a man who is likely avoided by people passing by be overjoyed that we wanted to hear his story. When I began asking questions about his pets he absolutely beamed with joy.

Anyway, be kind to other humans because we all experience everyday differently & you just never know. Ask for stories and tell stories, and a big shoutout to him for letting us hear his & letting me take his photo 🤍

Summer Bloom Sessions 💐 ONLY 5 AVAILABLE!

$250 (normally $550) $25 of every ticket sold will be donated to (my faaaavorite rescue where I got my wheelchair dog from) 🤍

📍 Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, Sunflower & Wildflower Fields.

Sessions are about an hour long and come with 50-90 photos in an online gallery available for high resolution download. A 50% non refundable retainer fee is required to book, and the other 50% is due a week prior to your session.

These must be booked between mid July-late August, 2026. Your session will have a definitive date when Wooden Shoe announces the official dates. We can shoot any time on Thursday/Friday or sunrise/sunset on Saturday/Sunday. The cost of the session does not include your entry to the farm 🤍

some photos that feel like stories to me. one of my favorite parts of weddings is nothing else really matters that day. i get to see the good parts, the raw parts, the emotional parts, the family stories, the family loss, the family gain, the childhood stories, the traditions, and soooo much more. it is so pure & raw & most importantly HUMAN.

I truly believe i was made to tell peoples stories, and weddings are one of the most unfiltered way to do that.
