After being rained out at their old home, we headed over to their new house. When I walked in, I immediately knew we needed to do a blanket fort. 🥹 I feel like blanket forts are the epitome of peak childhood. It was amazing & I’m obsessed with how these came out. I am forever thankful for couples/families that trust the vision 🥹🤍

part one.

I’ve been staring at my phone for the past 30 minutes trying to think of a caption good enough to do these photos justice but I quite literally can’t. (and I refuse to use chat sorry)

Some back story: They recently moved into a new house & these photos were taken at their old home. I felt like I could see their previous years in the bones of the house. I could see little first steps, laughter, tears, many hours spent gardening, hellos, goodbyes, laundry, meals, firsts, and sooo much love that filled every single space there. So, I did my best to replicate that before we got rained out by one of the most ruthless rain storms I’ve ever seen! Enjoy part one because I poured my heart into these 🥹🤍

I need you all to understand how incredibly difficult it was to choose which was going to be the first image. I have spent hours going back and forth between slides 1, 2, 8, and 9/10 🥲 So if you see any of these photos again, but as the hero image, keep quiet and pretend it’s the first time 🤣 Which would you have chose?
