Extended family sessions have become my favorite! They are just so beautiful and meaningful and priceless. I can’t get over the love and pride I witness not only during the session but when I’m editing as well.

Funny story, I “met” Erika online roughly 5 years ago. We developed a friendship through her business at the time (still missing you ) which turned into Crumbl deliveries, which turned into texts, which turned into deeper personal life conversations. BUT! We’d never actually met in person until this day when I had the pleasure of photographing her incredible family.

Funny how the internet can bring people together that you didn’t know you needed in your life. ✨

I had the best time taking business and marketing photos for my brother in law, Patrick. He owns and trust me when I say his BBQ is the best.

On this particular Saturday morning, he was preparing 3 separate catering orders plus opening for lunch. So, he was busy getting alllll the things ready while plating everything for me to photograph. The man can multitask in the kitchen!

He caters events, does pop-ups and has his food truck located at 11301 SE 21st Ave, Milwaukie, OR 97222. 👏

I recently re-branded and changed my business name to Courtney Morrison Photography, but I cannot for the life of me change my page name on Facebook. I have done everything google and Facebook have told me to do and still no luck. So, for now, you can find me as my original name until I can figure this out. Sorry for the confusion! This session is def a two parter. We started up above the water on a dune in the beach grass and ended down in the water as the sun was going down, so we were able to get different vibes and looks with both spots and time of day (my fav type of session!).

These guys absolutely crushed the whole session from location to outfits to going with the flow and having fun the whole way through!

I neeeeeeed to go back to the beach, so who’s next?!
