Babies change so much between their newborn and first birthday photo sessions, and it's a privilege to capture it with my camera. Milestone Sessions are always fun and a great way to show off baby's development. This little guy is pretty good at tummy time!

Fall always seems to bring all the babies! I get asked fairly often if I still do sessions in client's homes and the answer is YES! I do charge a travel fee but I like to make the option available since I know some clients prefer it. I bring everything I need and just ask that you provide the space. Usually I work in dining/living rooms but I've also worked in bedrooms, basements, and even hallways. If having a newborn session in your home is something you're interested in just let me know!

Can you tell it's below 40 degrees in this photo? There was frost on the grass and I was wearing multiple layers of wool including a hat/gloves for this weekend morning session. I'm so glad she was willing to brave the cold weather because her photos turned out great!

Finished editing all of Saturday's Halloween Minis and sent out galleries. I always love seeing all the adorable costumes! I brought 10lbs of candy to hand out at my building's Trick-or-Treat event afterwards and ran out after about 90 min. Definitely a fun afternoon :)

I still have some openings this weekend for Fall Mini Sessions and the weather looks sunny so I'd love to fill the spots! Sharing my own family photo from last year from one of the locations I hope to use this weekend. I just ran by it yesterday and there's a smidge more color right now than in this photo so it should be just about perfect for fall photos!

We've entered the time of year where overcast lighting is definitely a thing, and while I like nothing more than some yummy golden sunshine I thought I'd give a shout out to the underrated cloudy skies. This is the last photo I shot from an overcast evening senior session (the sun didn't poke out once!) and it turned out lovely :)
