Turns out exporting images in 1080x1080 and limiting file size to 1.6mb prevents the IG algorithm from compressing the crap out of photos and ruining their quality. I’ll be sticking with this output method from now on, I’m much happier with this result.

CRK Large Sebenza 21 in the pocket today. It’s easy to forget this simplistic beauty at the back of the knife case sometimes. In the wake of ever-elaborate titanium framelocks that have taken the knife world by storm, sometimes it’s refreshing to carry the classic that started it all. No bearings, no bu****it.

For here is the RFT’s lock side, showing off the sculpted pocket clip and flathead hardware. I especially like the way the center stripe milling continues seamlessly into the lockbar relief. A single rear screw threads into the front handle, effectively keeping the RFT together along with the pivot. Even the steel insert for the lockbar features a custom screw, as opposed to the standard Torx found on Shiro’s serial knives.

Thanks to the single rear screw on the lock-side handle, the RFT offers an extremely clean presentation side, free of screw heads or anything else that might distract from the gorgeous rock garden milling and sculpted pivot face.
