Happy Earth Day 2022!

Our Mother Earth has blessed us endlessly. I am so amazed by her systems and abundance. I enjoy watch the shows that exemplify her beauty. The natural gifts she gives us that heal our bodies, minds and souls.
*
*
*
Here are six things you can do today to celebrate our Earth every day!
Turn off the light - If you have an electric rate of 20 cents per kilowatt-hour, then you can save about 1.2 cents when you turn off a light bulb per hour.
*
Plant a Tree - In just ten years, an improbable idea has grown into a global movement. With your help, Ecosia has become the organization that has enabled the planting of more native and biodiverse tree species globally than any other. 100 million trees tackle the climate crisis by removing 1771 tonnes of CO2 every day.
*
Shorten your shower - On average, every minute of shower time equates to 2 gallons of water, and the shower of an average American lasts 8 minutes. If you shower daily, cutting back your shower time by just a minute could save sixty gallons of water per month.
*
Recycle - The reason why recycling is so important is that it prevents pollution, reduces the need to harvest new raw materials, saves energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, saves money, reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, and allows products to be used to their fullest extent.
*
Save Leftovers - When food is wasted, the land, water, energy, and other inputs that are used in producing, processing, transporting, preparing, storing, and disposing the food are wasted as well. Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
*
Shop Sustainably - Making energy-efficient purchases is one of the more meaningful ways you can cut your personal carbon footprint. Electricity and heat production account for about a quarter of global greenhouse gas emissions, and most electricity produced in the United States still comes from fossil fuels.

Live your life in the present.

It's a simple idea really, but it takes intention and discipline and practice. And when you don't do it, it causes harm to yourself and those around you.

Yesterday can't be changed. Spending energy on the past is futile.

Tomorrow hasn't happened yet. "The best laid schemes o' mice an' men. Gang aft a-gley". It can still go wrong. You've done all you can to prepare, now it's time to let it fate.

And I mean that! Everything in your life, your education, your choices of food, your choice to work out or not to work out, your careful planning and scheduling, your choices of partner and environment - it's all led up to this moment - right now. What's even more beautiful, is that before you - other people were also preparing for this moment. Your grandparents, who raised your parents, who raised you (or didn't depending on your familial situation) - they have all been preparing their whole lives for this moment right now. You have been preparing all your life for this moment right now.

You'll be able to say that again, and again, and again. You can change your trajectory and prepare for a different kind of moment whenever you want. And each time - you'll make it. So spend time in this moment, and every one hereafter.

I look forward to talking to you, hearing about your past, hearing about your plans for the future, and capturing you in this moment.

We are Everlasting Memoirs. We will help you curate your moments, into memoirs, to last into eternity.

Take What You Need Today!

When we take a break as a professional, it can be a very scary choice. Some professions call it a sabbatical. Often it stems from burnout, dramatic personal life changes, career shifts, natural disasters - the list goes on.

Whatever someones reason, taking a break is one of the healthiest things someone can do. It will change their perspective and allow them to come back to their passion with new energy and vision.

Today I ask you for grace, while I offer you to take what you need. I needed a break - and I'm ready to come back to you with new energy. What do you need today?

Stay tuned for what's next for Everlasting Memoirs.

Happy Father’s Day!

On this very special day, we want to remember our own father and how his dream started this company. It was his father who inspired the idea behind capturing the moments and laughter and persona of our loved ones. While we don’t have Grandpa Joe here with us today, we do have Joe Jr. And for that we are thankful.

To all those without your father today, we are sending you big hugs and all the love. Let’s us help you capture those moments you cherish, today. Let’s make them Evwrlasting Memoirs together ❤️

Juneteenth[b] (officially Juneteenth National Independence Day and historically known as Jubilee Day,[2] Black Independence Day,[3] and Emancipation Day[4][5]) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is also often observed for celebrating African-American culture.[6] Originating in Galveston, Texas, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States since 1866. The day was recognized as a federal holiday on June 17, 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law.[7][8][9] Juneteenth's commemoration is on the anniversary date of the June 19, 1865, announcement of General Order No. 3 by Union Army general Gordon Granger, proclaiming and enforcing freedom of enslaved people in Texas,[10] which was the last state of the Confederacy with institutional slavery.
