I’ve been a little quiet on socials… and it’s because my family and I, as well as several people across Texas, are fighting to save our homes and property. We received packets in the mail from ONCOR (only a couple weeks ago) showing the proposed routes of the biggest transmission lines ever to be built in Texas to be built on or bordering our property. The lines are to supply power to the Permian basin for the oil and gas industry- not to even help our area.
These things are HUGE. I’m talking taller than the Statue of Liberty, with 200 ft easements. Imagine the size of a football field of cleared land and monstrous transmission lines running for miles from east of Holland TX to the Permian basin out west. Not to mention there are 2 other lines like this to be built- one north of Dallas and the other out of San Antonio.
I am BEGGING you to complete intervener forms to help us gain numbers to get our state reps and politicians to hear us. If you are a client of mine, this will affect you as my family and I most likely move. I can’t imagine raising our daughter near these things. PLEASE complete the form!!
