Motherhood is hard. So naturally, I decided to make it harder by working full time and starting a business on the side. šŸ˜‚

And no, I didnā€™t have extra time. I didnā€™t have everything figured out. I just knew I wanted something that was mineā€”and a way to bring in extra income without working more overtime.

A year ago, I decided to try something new.

I was on my lunch break when I told my husband, ā€œIā€™m going to do the thing.ā€ I ordered the camera and lensā€”and the second thing I did was purchase my domain.

I was so nervous I would fail. That no one would book me. That maybe I wasnā€™t ready.

But I was also on a mission to prove to myself that I could build something of my own.
