During this season where I'm focusing some extra-special attention on my role as wife and mother, I'm thankful for the times I get to sneak away to do something else I love - family sessions! I'm SO very thankful to call these people friends! Tim, Peggy & their precious kids are dear friends of Mike & mine and I truly thank God for them! Tonight was such fun, thanks for spending it with me!

I think if I could "specialize" in one kind of photography, it would have to be newborns...hands down, these little babes are just simply my fave! I mean, seriously how can you not just melt over this sweet [smiling] bundle of pure joy?

I'm so excited to introduce you to Miss Felicity Kate! She weighed in at 7lbs 7 oz when she joined us on the morning of Tuesday April 19th. I have so savored these last six weeks full of snuggles and adjusting to life with FOUR little girls! Sure, this transition has had it's share of challenges, but our house is full of giggles and joy, and my heart is brimming with the abundance of God's goodness! ☺️

My choice to slow down on the photography front over the past year has been a very bitter-sweet transition for me, and I'm so thankful for my supportive friends & family! Including one of the newest members....Miss Rosemary Layne! I'm the proud aunt of this little bundle and was even blessed with the privilege of capturing her birth story (more on that later!) In the meantime, don't you just want to smooch all over these sweet cheeks!??

it's been so long since I've been behind the lens I was worried I might've forgotten where the shutter button was ;) but I couldn't have thought of a better way to "come back" than with these love birds! This session was not only an absolute blast, it made my heart swell being able to take part in this incredibly special time for these two! They are very definition of "twitterpated" and I'm so SO happy for them both!! Congrats Vin & Maggie!!! I can't wait to celebrate with you on your big day!!

TWINS!....Newborn sessions are probably one of my absolute favorites - I mean, who doesn't love enjoying baby-snuggles as part of their job!? So when Lauren allowed me the privilege of photographing her not just one, but TWO sweeter-than-sugar baby girls, I was elated!!! :D
