I flip through magazines and admire all the photography all the time. It’s one of the only reasons I have subscriptions to a few of my favorites. I use them for inspiration, creative flow, and composition skills always hoping to learn something new from another amazing artist.

When I get the honor to work with brands and businesses to showcase their hard work, their passion, and their talent- it means so much to me. Every time. It’s a reminder that even on an off day, someone trusted me with their brand. Someone considered me the kind of artist they want to work with.

Simple doesn’t mean boring.
It means intentional.

Nobody really talks about this part of owning a business.

Yes it’s work. Yes it’s risk. Yes it’s long days.

But sometimes…
it becomes friendships.
it becomes purpose.
it becomes freedom.

And sometimes it becomes the reason you get a random Tuesday afternoon with your kids.

5 years in and I’m still really thankful I tried.
