There’s something beautiful about letting go of perfection and embracing the season you’re actually in. 💛

Sweet baby McCoy had absolutely no interest in sleeping, and big sister Maddie had places to be and no plans to sit still—but that’s exactly what made this session so special. These images tell the story of life just as it is, right now: the snuggles, the chaos, the curiosity, and all the love in between.

I had the joy of photographing this family last fall, and it was such an honor to return and capture this new chapter as they welcomed McCoy into their family. These fleeting moments are not be perfectly posed, but they are perfectly theirs—and that is my goal going into every newborn session, because those are often the memories that mean the most years from now. ✨

Welcome to the world, sweet Cleo 🤍

This in-home newborn session was extra special. Not only did we get to celebrate a brand new baby girl, but we also captured four generations of women together—Cleo, her mama, grandma, and great-grandma Cleona, the incredible woman she was named after.

From tiny smiles to snuggles with her family (and even a curious pup!), Cleo was an absolute angel the entire session. These are the moments that become family treasures—stories, connections, and legacies all wrapped up in one tiny baby.

Four generations. One beautiful name. So much love. ✨

This little Truesdell girl is here 🙌🏻 Gracie girl is strong, she is loved beyond measure, and she is beautifully and wonderfully made.

Watching her parents step into this new role, you’d never guess how much they’ve already walked through. Their love is steady, instinctive, and so full—you can feel it in every moment they hold her close.

This session was everything I believe newborn photography should be: slow, connected, and real. No heavy posing, no pressure—just your baby, exactly as they are. The flaky skin, the little rashes, the wrinkles… all the perfectly imperfect details that make up these fleeting first days.

Because one day, those “imperfections” will be the very things you miss the most.

And this is her story—honest, resilient, and already so full of love.❤️

Some sessions just mean a little more 🤍

This one was extra special—getting to capture my husband’s whole family together on the beach, led by one incredibly strong, loving, and steady woman at the center of it all. The kind of mom (and grandma) who holds everyone together and makes sure moments like this happen.

Our Florida trip was full of sunshine, chaos, laughter, sandy feet, and memories I know we’ll be talking about for years to come. These are the moments that matter most.

Also… can we just acknowledge this Minnesota girl was a little out of her element shooting on the beach 😅 Wind, sand, and chasing light hit different—but so worth it for this crew.

So grateful for this family and the memories we made 🤍

This one isn’t just another newborn session..
This is my new nephew, Charlie John 🥰

Baby boy number three for my sister — three sons who will grow up side by side, protecting each other, wrestling on the living room floor, and loving their mama fiercely.

She was made to be a boy mom. Strong, patient, soft when they need it, and tougher than she realizes.

Getting to freeze these tiny details — the wrinkles, the yawns, the way his brothers already look at him — means more than I can put into words.

Welcome to the world, sweet boy. Your auntie loves you more than you know. 💙

Natural newborn sessions with me are all about slowing down and soaking in the real moments — the cuddles, the sleepy stretches, and all those tiny details you never want to forget. 🤍

This session was extra special watching big sister gently love on her new sibling — so proud, so careful, and already such a natural at being the best big sister.

I keep things simple: no complicated posing or over-the-top props, just natural connection, genuine emotion, and the beautiful little moments that tell your family’s story.
