My first ever Dalia flower. Planted in a pot from a tuber in Mid April, transferred to a raised bed late May. Now the plant is over 6 feet tall. It has 12 other blossoms in various stages. This blossom is between 6 and 7 inches across. I have 4 others planted at the same times but none yet have flowers or even hints of buds. I can see this may become addicting if I ever figure out the best way to grow them. Will post another when the flower is fully open. Open to growing hints and suggestions. These are in our Tennessee cottage.
