St. Jean Creative Celebrates Caddy’s Ribbon Cutting After Hurricane Challenges

We at St. Jean Creative are thrilled to announce we recently photographed the official ribbon cutting for Caddy’s Restaurant on Treasure Island, Florida. This event marks a fresh start after the devastating impact of two back-to-back hurricanes in October 2024. The storms destroyed Caddy’s original beachfront building, but with community support and newly secured permits, Caddy’s has opened a temporary location right next to their original spot. They’ll operate from this new location while rebuilding the iconic beachfront restaurant we all know and love.

Through our photography services, St. Jean Creative is proud to support local businesses that have faced immense challenges due to these hurricanes. Both St. Jean Creative and Caddy’s are members of the Pinellas Beaches Chamber of Commerce, sharing a commitment to uplifting the local economy and fostering community connections. We couldn’t be more honored to stand beside them during this exciting new beginning.

St Jean Creative Photography: A Message to Our Community

Over the past few weeks, our community has been hit hard by not one but two hurricanes. As we look around, we see some businesses have reopened, others are still in recovery, and sadly, many will never reopen. This has been a time of immense change, survival, and perseverance. Like many businesses in our area, St Jean Creative Photography has also felt the impact.

We've had youth sports sessions cancel and postpone, Halloween sessions canceled, beach and wedding shoots called off and many events canceled.. The economic effects are real for us and many businesses in the community. But through it all, what stands out the most is the importance of family, friends and neighbors and the memories we create together.

How can you help?

As we gear up for the upcoming holiday season, we want to keep capturing those special moments for you. Holiday and Santa sessions begin in November, and there’s no better time to book your spot. Now more than ever, it’s important to cherish the moments we share with our loved ones.

To give back to the community that has supported us, St Jean Creative Photography will be donating 10% of all holiday session sales in November to local hurricane recovery charities. It’s a small way we can help the ongoing recovery and give back to the people and places that mean so much to us.
