Earlier this year, I announced that I was ending photography and will be venturing into a new chapter. I did share the business post last week where you can find me, but I am doing a final post on here regarding this new business venture. My website will go live on Friday and a selected number of items will be available for purchase, only for this weekend. Did I add, it will include free shipping too! =)

After the soft launch, I will be getting ready for my participation in the Hmong Arts and Craft Show in Maplewood, MN on 11/19. After the show, I will have these items readily available for purchase, if there are any left. =)

PS: I am working on getting galleries out to families who I have worked with this season. Mini session galleries will go out no later than Monday of next week. Thank you all for the continual support!

Hello everyone!

As you may have been wondering since my official announcement of me ending this business and this page, I wanted to share with you what I have been working on.

I am opening an online boutique with Hmong modern design clothing and craft! Fashion has always been a passion of mine and I'd love for you to join me in my new endeavors! I will be launching sneaks starting on Monday, 10/24 and will be sneaking until my official website launch date (10/28)! Who knows, I may be feeling super generous and may give out free items during the week as well!

As promised, I am announcing my LAST and FINAL Fall Mini session for NXP. This is a bitter sweet moment and brings me back to 5 years ago when I started mini sessions. These are my most popular sessions and I'd be honest, I always prefer mini sessions. I operate my best work on stress and fast-pace movements and this why I offered so many of them back then. =)

If you still want to work with me or still need to get your Fall photos taken, here is your opportunity. And, I would LOVE to work with you! As always, click the link below to view the available slots. I will only plug a name in that slot once the contract has been signed and the deposit have been submitted to me. Please keep in mind that I will only hold the slot for processing time and if I do not receive the signed document/payment within 12-24 hours of our conversation, I will move on to the next person in line. Please, I ask that you are only serious when you message me & select a timeslot from my reserved timeslots. As I know we are all busy and do not want to waste each other's time.

Good Morning to you all!

I am so sorry I've been absent and non-active on this page. As many if you may know, I have two beautiful babies under the age of 3 and it's been a busy year for me, and photography has been put on hold.

I am here to update you all as I have received many messages from clients regarding whether I am still doing photography and whether I am still taking appointments. The answer is Yes/No. =) Yes, I am still booking appointments, but only for those who have purchased vouchers from me last year. I am not booking new client sessions.

I am going to make it official on here and will be making an announcement. Nhia Xiong Photography (NXP) has been an amazing journey the last 6 years. I have enjoyed meeting new and old faces as I embarked on this business adventure. It has been the best decision I have made thus far, as I’ve gained so many friendships in these last 6 years. I regret to inform you all that at the end of this year, NXP will be closing its doors. I have made the decision to pursue another dream of mine, which will be announced on here in the next few weeks.

But do not be too sad. I will still be around! =) I am still committed to hosting ONE final Fall Mini, which will be announced here soon. If you have been meaning to work with me, please stay tune. I will still LOVE to work with you during my final days of being a “photographer”.

Until then, please enjoy this quick photoshoot I took of my boys on their actual birthday. My Emmitt turned 1 and my Brayden turned 3 yesterday. =)

"The beautiful thing about young love is the truth in our hearts that it will last forever!"

I reflect as I edit this gallery of my nephew and his girlfriend that he's really growing up. It is a reality that I am not ready to admit nor face; I am also getting older. =(

Unforunately, my nephrew missed his prom due to the pandemic 2 years ago, but I am so glad that he at least witness a prom in his lifetime. They make the cutest couple!

For now, here is a quick sneak of my little nephew and his prom date. =)

National Husband Appreciation day was April 16th, 2022 and although I am 11 days late, I still wanted to honor my husband. Many of you may know I am the face of this business. I am the one behind the camera, behind the creativity, and the one working overtime to try to achieve something I am passionate about. But, many of you do not know who the motivator of it all is— That person is my husband. He is my detail detector, my biggest critic, my companion, my body guard, my plus one but most importantly, he is my reason. HE is the reason why I am where I am today. He continues to challenge my point of views, ask the hard questions and pushes me to keep going, oftentimes leading me to results I didn’t even know I wanted.

So, don’t be surprised if you see this man lurking around around us, behind me, or carrying my equipment. He’s just doing what he knows best.

When it's off season, I always like to test out different local studios I've been eyeing for months. So, I took the opportunity to buy matching clothes from Hmong MamaShop for my boys and their best friend and used them as my muse. Unfortunately, getting Brayden into his shirt was like pulling teeth and he threw a tantrum. But, I still had my serious boy Emmitt! =) Their best friend did AMAZING too, don't you think? =)

Just sharing as I go through images that need mad editing! For now, embrace this cuteness!
