The Flow of Time is an original ambient piece that I wrote and then performed live in Fern Canyon, in the California Redwoods.

"The flow of time is always cruel... Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."

This composition is about that feeling of the years passing more quickly than they used to, revisiting places that are both familiar and different, and the bittersweetness of knowing that every season, relationship, and chapter of life eventually comes to an end. Perhaps the reason these moments are so sweet is because they don't last forever, and bitter because the only way to get them back is through memories. They are just a tiny glimpse in the great timeline of the cosmos that we somehow get to experience. Listen to this song with that feeling and idea in mind.

I hope this music gives you a space to slow down, whether you're studying, reading, creating, sleeping, or simply sitting with your own thoughts.

‘I’ll Never Forget You’ is an original ambient/synthwave performance I recorded in Yosemite National Park with Half Dome in the background.

This trip became a lot more emotional than I expected. I came to Yosemite to reset after a painful falling out with someone I cared deeply about, and to get far away from San Francisco and clear my head. I spent days hiking through the valley, filming waterfalls, forests, wildlife, and some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen.

I hiked over 20 miles to summit Half Dome, one of the hardest and craziest things I’ve ever done. Along the way we ran into a rattlesnake on the trail, saw deer, squirrels, crows, and even a bobcat.

For a moment, it felt like I was finally starting to forget about everything that had happened before and get a step ahead… but then, completely randomly, I ran into her in Yosemite. A shocking coincidence that I was not at all emotionally prepared for, It brought back a lot of memories and feelings that I was trying to let go of.

This video became a reflection of that entire experience, grief, beauty, memory, nature, and trying to move forward while still holding onto something you can’t fully let go of.

I’ll Never Forget You.

I wrote, recorded, and produced this track entirely in the course of about a week. This one’s fully original, and I pushed myself to experiment with new sounds, textures, and production techniques that I haven’t explored before.

The vibe is heavily inspired by nostalgic video game soundtracks like Donkey Kong Country and The Legend of Zelda, those emotional, heart wrenching melodies that stick with you 25 years later.

Usually, I’ll write a small idea on my keyboard, go out and film it, and then build the track later. But this time I flipped the process, I produced the song first, then went out to capture the performance.

I scouted this location at Twin Peaks in San Francisco and came back the next day to film. I filmed 2 performances, one at sunset and one at blue hour, maybe I’ll release the sunset version on a later date. It was so cold and insanely windy up there waiting for the sun to go down, but totally worth it.
