Sunset light on the mountains, captured from the comfort of our Lake Mead campsite. We have a tradition that Becca makes a playlist for each of our trips, and we spend the driving portion of each trip playing it on repeat… which forever creates an association between songs and memories. This song was on the rotation as we visited Sedona, Joshua Tree and other beautiful spots in our camper van rental.

This lush vegetation is not what I imagined capturing when visiting . This was just downstream from a waterfall at … Water flow was real low but the light was great! I included the in the foreground to add interest (given the water is so subdued). I wasn’t sure this was going to work out but happy with the result! Definitely not bad for a trip where my main interest was the pubs! 😆
