Just before 1945 hours, on Wednesday June 17th, east side Companies were dispatched to a reported Dwelling Fire on the 2000 block of Hyacinth Ave East.

First-in Engine 9 had fire showing from the Alpha Delta corner, and pulled their line. Engine 7 pulled a back-up line, Ladder 7 put their stick up to the roof, and conducted a primary, Chief 3 assumed command. Engine 24 pulled a 3rd line, and hit the hydrant. Ladder 24 assumed RIT, while Engine 4 relay-pumped while Medic 17 and Car 50 assisted with patient care. Squad 1 assisted with a primary while Rescue 3 staged on deck, and Chief 2 assumed Safety. Both Squad 1 and Ladder 7 found dogs in the home, and brought them out.

Crews did have some extension on the delta exposure but were able to knock it down. Overhaul was conducted and Car 20 started their investigation. Two cats were also brought out.

Just after 1915 hours, Roseville along with Little Canada, St. Paul, and Lake Johanna Companies were dispatched to a reported Dwelling Fire on the 100 block of South McCarrons Blvd.

Chief 201 arrived and reported nothing showing, assumed command, while Chief 203 assumed Alpha. Engine 631 pulled a pre-connect while Engine 22 conducted a primary search. Engine 142 was tasked with water supply for Engine 631, however crews located a mattress fire and held off on the water supply. One dog was located and reunited with their owners. Engine 323 and Ladder 221 conducted secondary searches of the home. Crews evacuated smoke from the dwelling and started a fire investigation.
