We ended Reagan’s session with the sun setting over Grand Lake. I love movement in my photos, especially hair! I’m not sure Reagan was as thrilled as I was with the lake breeze, but look at what it does for the hair!👌🏼Beautiful!!
Sunset images like these are achieved using a technique called off camera flash (OCF). With the client’s back to the sun (light source), especially in the evening, their face and front side would be dark. OCF lets you light your subject while maintaining the camera settings necessary for the gorgeous colors happening in the sky. *Special thanks to her sweet mom, Janelle, for keeping my OCF stable on the rocks. ☺️
