There’s something extra tender about those first days at home — the quiet pauses, the soft newborn breaths, and the way a family shifts and expands around one tiny little person.

Baby Colsen was welcomed into a house already overflowing with love, but somehow he still managed to make the whole space feel even more tender and cozy. Watching his parents settle into their new rhythm — the gentle snuggles, the shared smiles, the “we can’t believe he’s ours” moments — was the sweetest reminder of why I adore in-home newborn sessions.

These precious early days go by in a blink, but the way a home holds them lasts a lifetime.

Every once in a while, a session reminds us exactly why we love photographing people in the first place!

We photographed Mark & Rachel's wedding years ago — the day their story officially began. And somehow, every time they come back to us, it feels like we’re stepping back into a chapter we’ve been lucky enough to witness from the very start.
