2025, you were a big one. 💙
We kicked off the year by doing the best thing we could’ve done for our family… moving from Texas to our dream home in Michigan at the end of January. And wow… it’s felt like home in every sense of the word.
The kids are officially St. Joe Bears, and we couldn’t love this school district more. One high school. A tight-knit community. Honestly, that means everything to us.
Grayson jumped straight into baseball with the Lakeshore Thunder, and we hit the jackpot with that team. Adam is now the head coach for the 8U team ⚾️. It’s been ao fun to see him in this coaching role!
Charlee joined a competitive cheer team and has been absolutely thriving. Watching her confidence grow has been such a gift.
Summer was basically sponsored by the beach. The kids ran wild with the neighborhood crew which meant bikes, house hopping, and enjoying the summer outside. We joke that we live in a 90s neighborhood because kids are just… kids. At meal times, there’s always extra kids at our table or ours at someone else’s. Exactly how it should be.
The dogs? Living their best lives. Over an acre to run, play, fetch, and they are still so spoiled and happy.
We were lucky enough to have so many friends visit this summer, and we loved getting to show off St. Joe, the lake, and this life we’re building here.
Fall was perfect. Apple picking, cider, and straight-up Hallmark movie vibes at local festivals.
We wrapped up the year with a ski trip to Boyne Mountain, where Grayson completely fell in love with skiing and Charlee reminded us all that hot chocolate breaks are non-negotiable. ☕️⛷️
Most of all, I’m deeply thankful for a husband who saw I was struggling in Texas and supported this move with his whole heart. After two years of therapy working through seasonal depression (yes, heat can absolutely be the problem), I can honestly say we’re happier than we’ve been in a long time.
Michigan, you’ve been so good to us.
Here’s to 2026 and whatever magic comes next. ✨
