I usually only post the fun and creative, stylized work, either from Grant Stone or a freelance gig; but anyone who sells a tangible product knows how important it is to have simple and clean product photos! And anyone who has ever attempted to photograph shiny objects, such as these, knows the effort it takes to do so! So, here's my not so humble brag for the month!

As we are nearing the end of the year (crazy, I know!) I’m going to start sharing my and favorites from throughout this year. There are quite a few, so I'll be splitting them into groups. I'd love to hear which ones are your favorites!

Health Elevated has grown and developed so much since our first branding session that it was time for some updates! Today I feel like sharing a little inside scoop on what it takes to achieve these wonderful photos when I'm working for Design By Jo! This is just a small part of Johanna's branding package and I can't even begin to tell you all the work she does before it's time to bring me on to start planning the photos! Planning for the photo session begins months in advance! Johanna has already been working on the website design and has a pretty good idea of what photos she needs in order to complete her vision. She and I usually meet up once or twice to discuss and plan all the details and scope out the location... and the text messages and phone calls following those meetings are countless! This is what happens when two passionate perfectionists partner up! When the big day comes, the session almost always includes hair, makeup (for the lady clients) and wardrobe services. Johanna also makes sure we have all the brand specific furniture and props we could possibly need. It takes a lot of time, planning, and organizing but that work always shows in the end results!
