The Gauge Master

So why (over the last two days) have we stated that these pix are from the future? Because the Guage Master campaign is slated to begin next year - January, to be precise. Then, once funded, they will be released 4 to 6 months after that.

The retail price for this unique watch will be $699 but if you want to save some cash, back the Kickstarter campaign and pay something under $400.

Remember when Grant from created the V8 Penblock/holder? What a day that was. In his latest project, he replicated that item's success as well as its design, but on a MUCH smaller scale. But how small? Well, keychain fob, small.

From the Inside Out

What do you do when you LOVE cars, love pens and are a creator or awesomeness? You meld the three together in your secret Hawaiian lab, and watch the magic happen.

So here's the rundown.

Step one - find a pen-shaped engine part that fits the bill.
Step two - Take the insides out with magic and CNC wizardry.
Step three - replace the center with inky goodness.
Step four - state with authority --- "It's alive!!"

And that's how it was done … in my mind. The reality may or may not include any of those steps, but the results are the same: was born.

The V8 Power, is yours!

Hey, folks.

If you are like me, you have a desk for doing the things you need a desk for doing desk things on. And if so; sitting somewhere within arms reach, you have a container holding an assortment of writing implements. Pens. Pencils. Sharpies. Along with the occasional screw or torx driver that was placed there for reasons that currently elude you.

The 2.0 before the upcoming 3.0

If you have not seen these - they are COOL!
If you have seen one - they are STILL COOL!

The Hoverpen 2.0 does just as the name implies - it hovers. Not through the inclusion of future-science tech, like: Micro-anti-grav stabilizers installed in the unit. Nor is it done by such basic optical-illusion devices, such as ultra-thin wires, suspending the unit atop its beautiful display stand. Nope. It is done by our old friend, magnetics. To be more precise: "Magnetic levitation (maglev) or magnetic suspension - a method by which an object is suspended with no support other than magnetic fields." - thanks Wiki

Smart Take on an Old Idea

From the good folks over at , we present the Ultralight V Series - their take on a pinch-clip style of cash retainers.

What makes this one a bit different, is how easy is it to insert cash or cards, or both. Most clips of this style, have their extensions permanently extended in order to open the clip to insert your chosen carry items. With the V series, the extensions are not accessible until you SLIDE them out in order to open the stainless steel jaws.
