"Stepping out on the moon..."

On a recent trip I finally made a stop at the moonscape overlook. You would have never guessed that this vast depression would exist on the flat drive in. The lighting wasn't ideal, so I went with this b/w image. I only had 1 decent weather day... I'll definitely be back.

October is about as late in the boating season for me. The crowds are gone, and the temps are cooler. The color in the skies make up for any lack of fall folliage...
