Fire! The mama the sky - everything. This is not AI. Let me repeat that. This is NOT an AI generated image or sky. It was on fire that night for my client. I had goosebumps while shooting! I did decide to shoot underexposed so I could capture every highlight and detail and saturated it in Lightroom, but that was it. It was on fire and it is the real deal.

I call these ones “Lady of Sunset” I finished watching GOT and I’m not gonna lie that it may have had some influence on the editing. The sunset graced us with its heavenly beauty and multiple colors when we did this session at Snow Canyon. When I saw my client up there on the petrified dunes I couldn’t help but think how close to heaven we were.

I have been a little MIA for the last month but a lot has been going on, including THIS! My oldest boy asked his sweetheart to marry him and she said YES!!! This is one of the defining moments of why I decided to pick up a camera in the first place! I am so grateful I am able to capture these moments for my loved ones.

It’s December 1st! Where did the fall go? I feel like this season just passed me by. I wasn’t even busy with that many sessions. Let’s be honest it’s kinda been crickets for me this season. But the universe may be calling me in another direction with my career choices. So maybe it has been a blessing that I haven’t been shooting as much as I’m used to. But thank you to everyone who has stuck around, rehired me, and haven’t stopped following. You are all amazing. ❤️

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving this year. I get all of my kids home and I don’t have to work!! How awesome is that?! What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

In two hours we set our clocks back. It’s the time of year I dread the most. Can’t we just spring forward again? Instead of following suit with fall foliage photos, I thought I’d post a session from this last summer. Maybe it will be a light in the darkness that will soon enshroud us till daylight savings comes again.

I’ve been working hard to get galleries out while doing clinicals. Lightroom has been slower than a turtle! So I haven’t been posting much so I can keep up. I have been so busy that I haven’t scheduled any minis this year. I may be able open some up for this Sunday. Please dm me asap if that is something you are interested in. They will be $200 for a 15 min time slot (I will be timing them this year so I don’t overshoot).

Happy Halloween! This isn’t a Halloween pic but it’s the closest thing I have. Lol. I tried to get my adult son to wear a pumpkin in his head and pose on his skateboard and he wasn’t going for it. So I’m bone dry for festive pics. See what I did there? 😂
