After much thought and many sleepless nights, and with tears in my eyes, I have come to the heartbreaking decision to close Allison Moyes Photography to any new sessions.
If you currently have a session booked, please know that I will still be honoring it.
This business was my passion, my dream, and such a huge part of my life. But recently, a few difficult situations have damaged lifelong friendships and new relationships within the community. I am embarrassed, hurt, and deeply saddened. I feel as though I’ve let people down — including myself.
Mentally, I am drained from some of the conversations and conflicts I’ve faced lately. I truly thought this was going to be my forever career, but the reality is, I no longer have the emotional strength to keep going.
I am beyond grateful for every connection, friendship, and memory I’ve made through photography over the years. You have all been such a special part of my journey.
Unfortunately, I’ve also seen a big shift in our small-town photography world — with more and more photographers in the area, it feels like the industry here is becoming less sentimental, less unique, and harder to navigate with heart.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your love and support. This chapter may be closing, but the memories will always stay with me. ❤️
