SEPTEMBER OUTDOOR SESSION AVAILABILITY 🍂

I have a very limited September availability left for outdoor sessions of all kinds — family, maternity, couples, kids, etc.

A few important things to know before reaching out:

📍 All September sessions will take place at a specific location.
Due to my current schedule, I am not able to travel to individual session locations during September. I already have sessions booked before and/or after nearly every opening, so I need to keep everything as streamlined as possible.

📅 Weekday sessions only.
I do not currently have any Saturday availability, and I do not schedule sessions on Sundays.

⏰ September is already very limited.
Booking a September session in August is considered a last-minute booking for my calendar. I will not have many openings left, and I cannot hold dates while waiting for responses. A date is not considered booked until the retainer fee has been paid. If you’re interested in one of the remaining openings, please be prepared to secure it when booking.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Extended family sessions need to be booked well in advance.
I’ve had several inquiries recently for large extended family sessions involving grandparents, multiple households, etc. These sessions require coordinating several schedules, and unfortunately, one month in advance is simply too short of a timeframe for me to reliably accommodate them, especially during my busiest months.

October is already completely booked, and I am not currently booking much beyond the first couple weeks of November.

🍁 Outdoor season is also weather-dependent.
Once temperatures begin dropping, I stop scheduling outdoor sessions for the season. I typically only have a small window in early November, depending entirely on the weather and temperatures. Outdoor sessions will resume in the spring once temperatures are comfortable again.

So if you’ve been thinking about getting an outdoor session done this fall, now is the time to reach out. Once these remaining September openings are gone, my availability is essentially gone for the fall season.

I think I should just permanently add Awkward Minis to my website because the amount of joy these sessions bring is incredible. I laugh SO much that all of the stress from life just goes away. I could do these every day and never get tired of it.
If you've been thinking about it....DO IT!
There's nothing like it and every client has told me they are so much fun (especially the men)!

Now Booking January & February Due Dates

If you’re expecting a little one, now is the perfect time to reserve your newborn session!

I accept only a limited number of newborn sessions each month so every family receives the time, care, and personalized experience they deserve. Because of this, my calendar often fills well in advance, and I’m rarely able to accommodate last-minute bookings once a month is full.

I recommend reserving your session during your second trimester to ensure availability. Your due date simply holds your place on my calendar, and we’ll schedule your baby’s session after they’re born.

To reserve your newborn session, please send:
• Your preferred package (pricing is available on my website)
• Your preferred retainer payment method (Venmo is available with a small processing fee, or you may pay by mail/drop-off to avoid fees)
• The email address you’d like me to use for your contract and questionnaire

If your due date is approaching and you’d like to reserve a spot, I encourage you to reach out soon. Availability is limited and often books months in advance.

1. When is my session officially booked?
Your session date is only confirmed once your retainer has been received. Until the retainer is paid, the date remains available for others to book.

2. Do you have Saturday availability?
For outdoor sessions, Saturdays are always the first dates to book. If you need a weekend session, I highly recommend booking 3–4 months in advance. At this time, my only remaining Saturday available this year is November 7th.

3. Do you have any October openings?
October is officially FULL! 🎉 My waitlist was a huge success, and those dates filled very quickly.

I will have 6 spots available for my Annual Fall Family Minis. Booking opens August 10th, and these will be the last opportunity to book fall photos with me this year. If you’re hoping for a spot, be sure you’re following the event page and have a reminder set—Fall Minis typically sell out within just a few hours!

4. Do you photograph weddings or events?
No. While I offered wedding and event photography in the past, it is no longer a service I provide and I do not plan to bring it back.

5. Do you schedule sessions on Sundays?
No. I do not schedule sessions on Sundays.

6. Why aren’t you available every weekend?
I know this can be disappointing, and I understand that not everyone shares the same priorities. However, my faith and my family will always come before my business. Because of that, I do not schedule sessions on Sundays, I limit bookings during my children’s sports seasons, and I intentionally reserve every other Saturday to spend with my family.

Thank you for respecting those boundaries and supporting a small business that values both family and faith. It truly means more than you know. 🤍
