There really is a community in metal music. As a metal concert photographer, I have gotten to know many bands of phenomenal people. I received a message today. Several of the bands that I have shot more than once and have gotten close to banded together, and they have replaced my camera equipment. When it gets here, I will be back and I cannot wait! I am forever grateful for incredible friends that I have made on this journey

I had someone ask a really good question. What if not enough is raised to get equipment. Should not enough be raised along with insurance to at least allow for a purchase of a camera body and lens all money will be donated to

I’m not going to let fire take away from being able to be there and capture your beautiful memories. I’ve started this campaign for support to rise out of the ashes, and get back to doing what I love, while my little boy and I rebuild our lives.

Anything is everything. Insurance will potentially cover 2500.

But I’m going to give back too. Keep an eye out for the print you could win! When we reach 500 donated, I’ll draw names for a canvas print. And we will keep going from there! I will also be giving away credits for shoots that never expire and you can give to anyone if you wish.

As some of my dear friends and clients know my home caught fire on 2/9/25. And have lost my camera, lenses, flashes, tripods, backgrounds and props.

I am putting sessions on hold for now, insurance covers a small amount of what is needed to replace my equipment.

I have absolutely loved capturing all of your memories, and am truly blessed to have been a part of each and every one of them. From the start of forever to tiny nose of a rainbow baby and everything inbetween.

My heart and hope is that Red Poppy will be back being your hype woman at your weddings and capturing the sleepy dreamy days with newborns soon.
