Let me introduce you to my tattoo artist ✨

This is Lilo — a well-known and loved artist in the Willmar community. I’ve been a fan of Lilo’s work for years, so when I found out she was apprenticing at Masterpiece Studio, of course I had to pay her a visit!

What I’ve come to appreciate most about Lilo isn’t just her talent, but how deeply she cares about the people who sit in her chair. She works hard to create a tattooing experience where her clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for from start to finish.

There’s something really special about getting to support the artists in your own community and watch them grow in their craft. 🤍

The Stearns County premiere of Echoes in the Night: The Search for Jacob Wetterling. ❤️

Just this past weekend, I had the pleasure of working alongside some outstanding individuals to help bring this new documentary film back home.

Friends, family, and community members gathered at the Paramount to witness a story that touched the hearts of so many play out on the big screen. Throughout the evening, folks connected with local resource providers, engaged in meaningful conversations with our panel speakers, shared stories, and, of course, enjoyed chocolate chip cookies.

There were so many heartfelt moments throughout the night. We cried, we laughed, we hugged, and together, we remembered the spirit of Jacob.

When I’m not behind a camera, I’m advocating for children. August 8th will always hold a special place in my heart because we gathered with one common purpose: to keep our kids safe. ❤️

I want to thank everyone who helped make this night possible, as well as all of those who work every day to support children and families through some of the darkest times in their lives.

It was an honor to be a small part of something that meant so much to so many.

I’m back in Colorado this month, and it reminded me of this beautiful day when I got to witness two people make a promise to each other in the Rocky Mountains.

My favorite part of being a photographer is getting a front-row seat to so many different kinds of love stories. Some couples are quiet and gentle. Some are loud and expressive. Others are bold, adventurous, and ready to chase the unknown together.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to watch people fall in love through the lens of my camera. Because of that, I feel rich. I get to collect some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives and preserve them forever.

What a gift that is. 🌲

One afternoon after switching out the records on my wall, it hit me—they also make the perfect photo backdrop.

If you don’t know me, here’s a little about me.

I’m a huge fan of music. Every genre has something to offer, and I’m always adding to my record collection. Along with that, I have a soft spot for all things vintage. Vinyl records, cassette tapes, old cameras, worn picture frames, antique furniture… if it has history, I’m probably drawn to it.

Looking around my apartment, I realized it isn’t just decorated with things I love—it’s filled with pieces that inspire the way I create.

Sometimes the best backdrop is the life you’ve already built around yourself. 🎞️📷🎶
