From witnessing the Great American Solar Eclipse at Mt. Hood Oregon, to hiking 14 miles into the Canadian backcountry, this trip tested me and brought me out of my comfort zone in so many beautiful ways. The Pacific Northwest will always hold a place in my heart.

Never a dull moment at one of my favorite parks in Florida. The rapids at Hillsborough River State Park are always peaceful to listen to and see, but the wildlife was very active today. I saw gators, hawks, and heard the hoots of an owl deep in the forest. But what really made my day was actually seeing a river otter for the first time at the park. The otter surfaced right in front of me!!! I was too stunned to move let alone take photos, which was a bummer. Nonetheless, an exciting afternoon for me!
