Artist Spotlight

There are some people whose artistry extends far beyond the stage.

It was an absolute pleasure photographing classical soprano Susanna Barasch, a performer known for her expressive solo recitals, beautiful bel canto technique, and dedication to sharing the art of classical singing through both performance and teaching.

As a portrait photographer, I love creating images that reflect not only how someone looks, but who they are. My goal for this session was to create a timeless, painterly portrait that echoed the elegance and emotion Susanna brings to every performance.

I’m especially honored that these portraits are now featured throughout her professional website—and grateful for the photography credit she so thoughtfully included.

If you’re in Florida or the Northeast, keep an eye out for one of Susanna’s upcoming performances. She has concerts scheduled throughout the year, including appearances in Gainesville, Atlantic Beach, St. Augustine, and New York City.
