📣 Engagement Sessions are meant to be fun - you don’t have to stress over a location or come up with some grand, intricate plan. 📣
Pick a place you really like or that holds some meaning for you, don’t worry if it doesn’t strike you as ”photo worthy” right away - let me hold that for you. After 15+ years of photographing, I don’t need much to work with when it comes to locations - if it means something to you, it’ll show and sometimes that’s all you need.
My favorite thing to do for these sessions is pull the ole Park-n-Wander - and that’s exactly what K+Z and I did for this session! is a delicious mocktail bar in the most perfect moody, vibe-y space to kick photos off! Despite all of the hurdles Sam has dealt with since the hurricane, we sure are glad she found this cozy little corner to call her own and that she was gracious enough to let us snap some pics in there 🙌🏼
From there - you guessed it - we wandered. Strolled up and down the streets of downtown Waynesville, danced in the road a bit and then headed over to Lake Junaluska where they’ll be tying the knot in a few months. And it was perfect. 💜
