It’s hard to beat this time of year on the Historic Coast. The flood tides are getting better, fall is right around the corner and some of our favorite days of the year are ahead of us.

September and October are always two months we look forward to around here. Tailing redfish in the grass, Cast & Blast season and eventually a little cooler weather.

A good pair of glasses isn’t just another piece of gear when you make your living on the water.

July treated us pretty well around the Historic Coast. From tarpon, trout, flounder, jacks and redfish, it was one of those months where you never knew what the next cast might bring.

August is shaping up to be just as good, and after that it’s game on. We’re only one month away from kicking off our favorite time of the year…Cast & Blast season.
