a little update🫶🏼

I’ve had a few people reach out recently asking if I’m still offering family sessions and the answer is YES!!❤️ as a mom who has wrestled with whether or not i want to share my sweet babe’s face online, I’ve decided to remove any little faces from my profile (as much as it pains me to not post their cute faces). I know a lot of families who love posting their little ones but I also recognize that they’re posting on their pages with an audience that they know — so that doesn’t always mean they will be comfortable with me sharing on my page and for that reason I’ve decided to avoid it all together.

Anywho, all that to say I’m currently booking spring and summer family and lover sessions and would love to chat with you about documenting your family this year🌷

Its been awhile since I’ve shared any work here — evident by the fact that olivia and tyler are currently snuggling their sweet baby girl earthside🥹

I took a step back from shooting last year as we welcomed our baby boy in May, but I also took some time off this page altogether. I’ve spent time reflecting on how I can best serve my families and couples moving forward as I take a pause on shooting weddings.

I’ve decided to really strip it down to the bare bones this year and focus in on what truly matters — documenting moments for you and protecting their sacredness. I got rid of the fancy systems and website and gear and simplified things down to a contact form, true connection and being fully present.

Since becoming a mom, I’ve found that this approach is what works for me in this season in all areas of life, business included. My hope is that it gives you permission to do the same when we work together — to ditch the stress that comes from curating the perfect outfits, the tidiest home, the most aesthetic background and to allow your family to just be. No pressure, no expectations, no need to worry about your kids being on their best behavior or bribed smiles. Just genuine, messy, beautiful, mundane childhood days in all their glory.

Autumn Mini Sessions Are Live 🍂

For years, I’ve dreamed of a place like this —
a quiet patch of earth where time slows down,
where little feet dance through golden grass,
and laughter echoes between the trees.
This land has become something sacred —
a place for stories to begin,
for memories to take root,
for seasons to change and be remembered.
It’s been a joy capturing families here —

As I’ve been soaking up these early days of motherhood, I can feel my heart expanding — discovering a love like no other for my sweet baby boy, falling more in love with my husband as he’s stepped into his role as a father with such ease, and a deep appreciation for my own parents and everything they’ve sacrificed for me. Becoming a mother has given me a new perspective on documenting families, as I knew it would. I’m so looking forward to capturing the sweet moments that truly go by too fast, the ones we wish we could freeze in time, the ones we savor through photographs for years to come.

This newfound appreciation for documenting families paired with a desire to spend more time with my own — has led to my decision to take a pause on shooting weddings for the time being.

Weddings will undoubtedly always hold a special place in my heart and maybe I will make my way back to them someday. I feel so blessed to have been witness to so many beautiful unions over the past couple of years.

As for right now, I will shift my focus to working with couples and families and will now be booking a limited number of sessions August — December. As always, thank you for your support and I look forward to this new season with you🤍
