Proud to be apart the Saginaw Soup Competition
Congratulations to all the winners and participants…
“With Tink Top Models, I want to do more than just modeling.
I want it to be a holistic experience. I want them to walk away with not just the modeling experience but with the skills to become productive adults, leaders in their community. Everyone may not go onto stardom, but they would still learn things they can take and carry on into their lives.
So what's the problem? There's a lack of positive representation in a city that's roughly 50% Black. There's also a lack of exposure, prospects and opportunities to expand those horizons. For many, Black women are considered to be at the lowest of the low as far as beauty standards, but we see them emulated everywhere, from lips to hips, but we are not there. So we are here to normalize and create space for Black women.
The solution? The solution is training. Proper training is not just about the catwalk, it’s about educating: tutorials, appropriate attire and public speaking. Our target audience is anyone from kindergarten to senior citizens: we want models of all ages and all sizes. Not just one person is for all of us. It's not just about a pretty face and it’s not about being skinny. It's important that we address the whole woman, the whole human: mind, body and spirit.
We are the only modeling company specifically dedicated to Black women. We offer hostessing and brand ambassadors, holistic modeling, runway training, skills in posing and working with photographers and designers. Tink Top Models provides diversity representation and new and fresh faces as well as training future leaders with life skills that surpass just modeling.”

Business owners in the start-up phase of their businesses compete for a first prize of $2000, a second prize of $1000, and a 3rd place prize of in-kind services from a local expert.
