Not long after I started doing cake smash sessions I started adding in a short bath session. It served a dual purpose of getting the babies clean and getting super cute photos.

Most all babies love playing in the bath and, in general, some of the cutest faces in the session come from the bath portion. I mean, just look at that adorable smile! They splash and smile and just have a grand time.

This little one was adorable and happy the whole time, but she did love the bath portion the most.

This little one was all smiles and happy faces for her one year session today. I've always loved doing Smash and Bath sessions and this baby made it so easy today.

It's very strange to me that I'm now photographing the children of the children that used to hang out at my house. I wouldn't have it any other way.

This lens doesn't have quite the same level of clarity and sharpness as my old 100-400mm, but it's so much lighter and easier to handle.

Every time I look at these photos from India, particularly the tigers, I'm overwhelmed all over again by the experience. I never dreamed that I'd be able to photography tigers in their natural habitat. It's astounding and amazing and beautiful every time I think about it.

My mom loved tigers and she would have loved this little tiger blep.

We did our best to make the wind work in our favor for as long as we could. Thankfully, Katelyn is a real trooper. We'll head back out tomorrow and try for a few more.

I haven't been behind the camera for a few months. I'm happy to do it with long time friends and supporters.

This little guy is ONE happy camper with his cake! This was such a great session for me. I've been photographing the little boys in this family for 9 years now and I've loved every single one of them!

It's been a very long time since I've done a cake smash session and I enjoyed every minute of this one. I miss the days when cake smash sessions were super popular.
