My photo essay, "Sidekicks: A Collection of Alter Egos," will be up in a gallery exhibit during the month of October. An ekphrastic exercise will take place during the month, in which poets will be allowed to create work based upon an image or the images in the show. My opening is a Second Saturday event, on October 12, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Poet's Gallery, 1719 25th St., in Sacramento. There will be light refreshments.
