I am a wife to a wonderfully supportive husband, a mother of two vivacious young boys, a sister and daughter to my lovely family. For 10 years, I edited works of some pretty amazing photojournalists. Together we covered stories of women's lives in Afghanistan to Presidential campaigns to the tragedies of 9/11. These photographers have always inspired me with their courage, their humanity, and thei

r unrelenting pursue of showing the world through their own eyes. After having my two boys, I took time off from photography to stay home. They make me laugh and cry and there is never a dull moment. They know what it is like to have a mom always taking pictures of them, capturing every moment of their lives. I love it, they mostly love it. (now they know to run away or look bored) My family have been so supportive of my decision to turn my lens onto other people's families and lives, allowing me to share my passion with you. I hope one day I will be able to capture some special moments of your family. Fun facts about me:

This shoot almost didn't happen because the little girl was not feeling well. She was such a trooper giving me smiles and listening to my prompts. This was their special spot where they hang out often as a family and with friends. We were able to create some special memories at this location for them. Such love!

After some weather delay, I finally had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family. A Bowie fan, a dog lover, a Waldorf teacher and a firefighter. What a fantastic family they make! I am so lucky.
